St Martins School is Shropshire’s first ‘all through’ school for children aged 3 to 16 years of age. From nursery to the end of year 11 students at St Martins School enjoy a tailored and child centred education and learning environment; something that we can do because of our small size.
St Martins School is a popular small school with a wonderfully friendly, caring and supportive staff – all dedicated and experienced, and with an enthusiastic and equally supportive governing body. We know each child and work together to ensure that every child in our care is happy, safe and given every opportunity to learn and to succeed during their time with us.
We work in close partnership with schools in our community; Gobowen, Weston Rhyn and Selattyn, delivering an innovative Community Curriculum sharing best practice and giving students an exciting enhancement to their learning.
We value academic progress and social development equally. We work in collaboration with Moreton Hall School utilising their 'state of the art' science facilities. Our unique scholarship agreement has enabled several of our brightest year 11 girls to transfer to Moreton Hall for their post 16 studies, raising aspirations within our school. Our collaborations with the area’s most successful schools continues this year as we embark on our journey as part of The Priory School academy trust working together to ensure that changes and innovations continue to improve outcomes.
Our children are individuals, respected for their differences and celebrated for their strengths. Within this caring family environment our children feel confident to push themselves to achieve the best they can, they enjoy an exciting and sometimes daring curriculum which challenges and stretches them.
