Learning Resources Assistant with Administration

Term time only, 20 hour per week. Grade 5, (£10,076 per year)

We are looking to appoint individuals with a proven track record in providing excellent administration service to a variety of ‘customers’ in a busy office environment. It is essential that the applicants for these roles are organised, able to multi task, work flexibly and have a ‘can do’ approach.

 

SEND Learning Support Assistant

Term Time only (30hrs per wk) Grade 5 - (£16,355 - £16,615 per annum)

Classroom Cover Supervisor

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking to appoint a hardworking, determined and suitably experienced Classroom Cover Supervisor who can work staff sickness and training days and act as a temporary supply for classes where necessary

St Martins School, is part of The 3-18 Education Trust, a multi-academy trust with students aged from 3-18 and which works collaboratively to provide interesting and exciting opportunities for staff to share ideas, resources and expertise, for the benefit of the students.
The 3-18 Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, as such this post requires acknowledgement and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies which can be found on the school website. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Code of Practice on the English Language requirement for Public Sector Workers. From 1 October 2016 there is a statutory duty to ensure that each person in a customer-facing role speaks fluent English. This is in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. The Code states that "Members of staff who, as a regular and intrinsic part of their role, are required to speak to members of the public in English or Welsh if they are considered to be working in a customer-facing role."

This is relevant to but not limited to the following types of job roles; Teaching and Teaching Assistant roles, administrative and receptionist posts.

The ability to communicate at ease with stakeholders and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
