KS1 – Year 1 Teacher MPS Full Time, Maternity Cover From 1 May 2023

Fixed Term to 31 July 2023 in the first instance - Required immediately

 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Breakfast Club Coordinator to join our caring, creative and successful all-through school, to lead on the operation and development of the breakfast club to ensure its’ continued smooth and effective running and to ensure children attending the Club enjoy a healthy start to the day and are therefore able to maximise their learning when lessons begin.

 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an After School Club Coordinator to join our caring, creative and successful all-through school, providing safe, high quality play opportunities and care for children, and leading the day to day operation of the after-school club service for children, based at St Martins School, ensuring they can develop personally, socially and educationally, in a safe, caring environment.

  LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR 12 hrs/wk, Term Time Only Salary Grade 2, Point 2 (£9.60 per hour)

Required Immediately An exciting opportunity has arisen for a cheerful and approachable person to join our Lunchtime Supervisory team. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills and be able to communicate in a professional but friendly manner to both students and staff.

Sports Centre Assistant—Casual

                      Grade 1, SCP 1 (£9.50 per hour)                       

 We are looking for an assistant who will work to ensure the smooth, safe day to-day running of the Centre.  The post-holder will ensure that facilities are prepared and available for usage and that facilities are in a safe condition for use.  The position will also include working on pool side.

St Martins School, is part of The 3-18 Education Trust, a multi-academy trust with students aged from 3-18 and which works collaboratively to provide interesting and exciting opportunities for staff to share ideas, resources and expertise, for the benefit of the students.
The 3-18 Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, as such this post requires acknowledgement and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies which can be found on the school website. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Code of Practice on the English Language requirement for Public Sector Workers. From 1 October 2016 there is a statutory duty to ensure that each person in a customer-facing role speaks fluent English. This is in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. The Code states that "Members of staff who, as a regular and intrinsic part of their role, are required to speak to members of the public in English or Welsh if they are considered to be working in a customer-facing role."

This is relevant to but not limited to the following types of job roles; Teaching and Teaching Assistant roles, administrative and receptionist posts.

The ability to communicate at ease with stakeholders and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
